Els Cornelis
peopleEls Cornelis is a relational artist, lecturer and researcher at HKU School of Fine Art and HKU School of Creative Transformation. At HKU School of Fine Art, she is the project leader and initiator of the research into the possibilities of a new model for the art school - a PLURIVERSITY OF THE ARTS - in which process-based decolonization and multiperspectivity form the basis. She is also involved in ArtEZ Studium Generale where she collaborates on (temporary) projects to explore alternative and more inclusive ways of working within arts education.

Els Cornelis is relationeel kunstenaar, docent en onderzoeker aan HKU School of Fine Art en HKU School of Creative Transformation. Bij HKU School of Fine Art is ze de projectleider en initiator van het onderzoek naar de mogelijkheden van een nieuw model voor de kunsthogeschool – een PLURIVERSITY OF THE ARTS - waarbij procesmatige dekolonisering en meerstemmigheid de basis vormen. Daarnaast is ze betrokken bij ArtEZ Studium Generale waar ze in (tijdelijke) projecten (samen)werkt aan het exploreren van alternatieve, en meer inclusieve manieren van werken binnen kunsteducatie.
