Silvia Gardini

people
Silvia Gardini is a visual artist and lawyer who studied LL.M Civil law and an L.L.M Criminal and Criminal Procedural law at the University of Leiden. She is currently studying at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Munich, Germany. Silvia’s research as an artist focuses on abuse of power and gender-based violence in the art context. She is part of Engagement Arts NL, a not-for-profit organisation that addresses gender-based violence, sexism, discrimination and the abuse of power in the Dutch arts and design field. Silvia also works with the law firm Hogan Lovells, where she is part of the Criminal Investigations, White-collar crime and Fraud team, where she assists clients in the implementation of corporate compliance and the application of whistleblowing legislation.
