Niels Andree Wiltens
peopleNiels Andree Wiltens is the social safety officer in the HR department at the Rijksakademie, a post-academic artistic institution in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Niels has been joining a series of arts educator workgroups organised by Platform BK and the artist Falke Pisano from 2020-2022. The Rijksakademie is an international artist residency for research and experiment for artists who have already been working independently for some time. Most participants are hosted by the academy for two years, through which they follow a model of studio visits with regular and guest advisors. The academy provides a stipend, workshops with technical advisors, and yearly open studios. They therefore require governance for a range of different time frames and responsibilities.
