Ooit deelgenomen aan interdisciplinaire jamsessies?
Wil je nieuwe artistieke terreinen verkennen en deel uitmaken van een actieve gemeenschap van improvisers binnen ArtEZ?
Vanaf januari 2023 nodigt OPEN-ENDED alle performers en kunststudenten uit die werken met theater, beweging, geluid, tekst, ruimte, video, fotografie, digitale kunst en media, objecten en meer om samen te jammen in het Theatrium!
OPEN-ENDED biedt een veilige omgeving voor collectieve experimenten en is een manier van kunst maken met nadruk op zelfbewustzijn en zorgzaamheid voor elkaar. Dit academisch jaar zal OPEN-ENDED drie improvisatie evenementen faciliteren die bestaan uit speelse en inspirerende laboratoria waar deelnemers worden aangemoedigd om hun creativiteit en kunstenaarschap in de ruimte te brengen. Elke keer zullen we werken met een specifieke focus. We zullen vrij improviseren maar ook ter plekke korte stukken creëren; poëtische verhalen die voortkomen uit intensief luisteren, actieve betrokkenheid en collectieve besluitvorming.
Alle niveaus van ervaring zijn welkom!
OPEN-ENDED JAM is een initiatief gecreëerd en gefaciliteerd door Mar Esteban Martin en Tania González, studenten aan het masterprogramma Home of Performance Practices (HoPP), en ondersteund door Snacklocket.

Have you ever participated in interdisciplinary jam sessions?
Would you like to explore new artistic terrains and become part of an active community of improvisers within ArtEZ?
From January 2023 OPEN-ENDED invites all performers and art students working with theatre, movement, sound, text, space, video, photography, digital art and media, objects, light, and more to jam together in the Theatrium!
Committed to provide a safe environment for collective experimentation, OPEN-ENDED is a way of doing and making art that promotes self-awareness and a caring sensibility towards each other. This academic year OPEN-ENDED will facilitate three impro events consisting of playful and inspiring laboratories where participants are encouraged to bring into the space their creative selves and artistry. Each time we will work with a specific focus, improvising freely but also creating short pieces in the present moment; poetic narratives that arise from deep listening, active engagement, and collective decision-making.
All levels of experience are welcome!
