Informatie, in welke vorm dan ook, zal altijd een element zijn in het werk van ontwerpers en kunstenaars, of het nu aanwezig is in het werk zelf of in de communicatie die nodig is om het werk te positioneren binnen relevante netwerken en media. In haar werk als grafisch ontwerper en onderzoeksstutor speelt informatie een centrale rol. Harma zoekt naar structuur in complexe vraagstukken en vertaalt deze naar goed ontworpen informatie die begrijpelijk is voor de lezer en kijker. Binnen de Willem de Kooning Academie werkt ze in het Research Station en de Master Design als tutor en ontwikkelaar. Als docent treedt ze op als ontwerper. Ze ontwerpt curricula, cursussen en materiaal die studenten helpen bij het doen van onderzoek, bij het maken, documenteren en rapporteren hierover.

In her work as graphic designer and research tutor information plays a central role. Harma looks for structure in complex issues and translates it into well designed information that is understood by reader and viewer. In the Willem de Kooning Academy she works in the Research Station and the Master Design as tutor and developper. Being an educator she acts as a designer. She designs curricula, courses and material that help students in doing research, in making, documenting and reporting about it.
