From point A to point B
A guide for Indulgent Reading in the Train
blog by Catelijne de Muijnck – 05 July 2023This summer we invite you to use the following guide to expand your relationship with the texts you read while travelling and to connect deeply to your surroundings:
The whole trip as a 'reading period'
physical sensation during a transitional space
let the reading also hover in the state between the two
perceiving the ‘boundary’ between different things and states may breed
the bridge of connection with each other.

June 12th the Indulgent Reading Group went on a daytrip. In the train - in the in-between space of travelling, they wanted to create a new relation to how we produce and consume knowledge. Studium Generale junior curator Fai Aldhukair, who initiated the Reading Group has adapted the guide they used that day for you to use in your own reading during your summer travels.
