The one thing about indigenous people is that, they dont think the land is theirs, but that they belong to the land. When we speak about indigeneity, we speak about listening to the land, listening to nature. The wisdom and knowledge that comes from these cultures is based on listening to the country, to the place, to the land. By burning libraries, forbidding to speak their language and dance even, these wisdoms are erased.
