This workshop is organised for all ArtEZ master's students and is part of the ArtEZ programme Doing (Artistic) Research Days 24/25. With this programme, we showcase the diversity of research within ArtEZ. It shows projects by researchers, students, lecturers, professorships, APRIA, ArtEZ library Arnhem and Studium Generale in collaboration with (inter)national makers and researchers.
On Thursday, December 12th, Corpo-real (Master’s in Interior Architecture) will host an interactive exhibition, discussion, and festive Christmas dinner as a part of the Master Exchange Research Day(s) project. During the afternoon, you’re invited to participate in an interactive exhibition of Corpo-real’s graduating students as they showcase their research and practice.
This year’s projects cover a wide range of topics, all revolving around exploring the relationship between the body and space (Corpo and reality). Alumni Rachit Puri and Chiayu Chiu will be present as visiting critics, encouraging you to actively engage with the work on display. Following the exhibition, we’ll gather for a discussion led by Rachit and Chia, including small exercises to deepen our reflections.
We’ll explore not only the research featured in the exhibition but also, more importantly, how we—students, staff, and guests—bring unique perspectives to what it means to conduct artistic research. Afterward, you’re warmly invited to join a festive dinner prepared by Corpo-real students. Continuing their cherished tradition, each student will contribute a dish that reflects their home country or family roots.
