Skye Kinlaw

people
Skye Kinlaw is a classically trained violinist, graduating this July from ArtEZ with her Master of Music. Originally from the US, she has been living in northern Europe for 3 years, which has given her the gift of learning about the different contexts people have which inform their perspectives on life, culture and the role(s) of society. She has been playing the violin since she was 3 years old, beginning first in her hometown of Orlando, Florida, then pursuing preparatory studies at the Peabody Institute in Baltimore, Maryland, and finally pursuing her Bachelor and Diploma studies at Indiana University. She is keenly interested in the intersection of music and social & environmental justice, and redefining and improving classical music’s role in society.
