Andros Zins-Browne

people
Andros Zins-Browne trained as a dancer and choreographer but his work leans towards the visual arts. As a dancer he has worked with, amongst others, Jonathan Burrows, Mette Ingvartsen and Tino Sehgal. His own creations have been exhibited across Europe, including the Stedelijk Museum, Centre Pompidou, Dance Umbrella (London) and HAU (Berlin). Zins-Browne bases his work on topical issues. For instance, he has drawn a lot of inspiration from digital culture and its impact on the human body and behaviour, producing science fiction-like performances in which characters move like avatars and real and virtual worlds overlap.

At Frankenstein Festival: Homo Technicus on November 6 2015 Andros Zins-Browne gave a workshop and a lecture.
