Emily Witt is a writer in New York City. She is the author of Future Sex: A New Kind of Free Love (2016) and Nollywood: The Making of a Film Empire (2017). She has published essays, criticism, and reports in The New Yorker, The New York Times, GQ, the London Review of Books, and many other places. She has degrees from Brown University, Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, and Cambridge, and was a Fulbright scholar in Mozambique.
