Soepboer & Stooker
peopleThe shop/studio/gallery Soepboer & Stooker is a concept based on garments and textiles. Soepboer & Stooker sells exclusive apparel by young designers and renowned labels such as BLESS, Marloes Blaas and Reality Studio and offers also accessories, books and magazines. Next to that the space at Soepboer & Stooker is used as a 'design’ studio from which as well workshops in sewing technique are given. The gallery presents changing photography exhibitions from, amongst others, Blommers/Schumm and Scheltens & Abbenes. Soepboer & Stooker offers a multifunctional platform for the introduction and exclusivity of ‘fashion’ designers and artists. Berber Soepboer (Schiermonnikoog 1983) and Anne Stooker (Utrecht 1984) got to know each other at the Rietveld Academy, at which they studied Fashion Design. By combining their talents into Soepboer & Stooker, together they created an unique enviroment.
