Tom Tlalim

people
Tom Tlalim (UK/NL) researches political power as exchanged through mediated technologies and the sonic domain. His work includes installations, performances, films, text, software and sound art. He regularly leads interdisciplinary art and research projects. Tlalim is currently working as a lecturer at Goldsmiths University of London where he is also completing a PhD with a grant from the Dutch Mondriaan Fund. He has a MPhil in Media studies, a MA in Composition and a MA in Sonology. Recent exhibitions include “Art in the Age of Asymmetrical Warfare” at Witte de With Rotterdam, The Venice Architecture Biennale, International Film Festival Rotterdam Tiger Award (nomination).

At Chaos & Conflict on 12 February 2016 Tom gave a workshop: The Sound System of the State.
