Martine van Lubeek
peopleMartine van Lubeek (1999) is artistiek onderzoeker, schrijver en facilitator van collectieve leerprocessen. Haar praktijk is gebaseerd op onderzoek en gericht op kennisproductie. Haar werk komt voort uit een verlangen naar intimiteit met de meer-dan-menselijke wereld. Vanuit haar interesse voor Deep Listening, antropologie, eco-spirituele filosofieën, speculatieve toekomstbeelden en experimentele pedagogieën, ontwikkelt ze hulpmiddelen om te luisteren. Ze faciliteert transformatieve leerervaringen om ondersteunende structuren voor de toekomst te creëren. Door te luisteren ontrafelt ze langzaam de verborgen polyfonie van de menselijke en meer-dan-menselijke wereld.
Haar onderzoek neemt de vorm aan van workshops, gemeenschappelijke leerbijeenkomsten, lezingen, teksten en sculpturale elementen, zowel in als buiten tentoonstellingsruimten. Bij elkaar gezien functioneren haar experimenten als constellaties van plaatsen in samenhang met hun verleden en hun relaties. Zij blijven groeien door te denken-voelen met de aarde. Als zodanig faciliteert Martine van Lubeek kennis door te luisteren, beoefent ze pedagogieën van gemeenschappelijk leren en verbeeldt ze een toekomst van symbiose.
Martine van Lubeek (1999) is an artistic researcher, writer and facilitator of collective learning processes. Her research-based practice is grounded in the field of knowledge production and stems from a longing for intimacy with the more-than-human world. With an interest in Deep Listening, anthropology, eco-spiritual philosophies, speculative futures and experimental pedagogies, she develops tools for listening and facilitates transformative learning experiences to render support structures for the future. Through listening, she slowly unravels the hidden polyphonies of the human and more-than-human world.
Her research takes the shape of workshops, communal learning gatherings, lectures, texts and sculptural elements, both in and outside the exhibition space. When placed together, the experiments function as archival, relational constellations of place that keep growing by thinking-feeling with the earth. As such, she facilitates knowledges through listening, practices pedagogies of communal learning and imagines a future of symbiosis.
