Albert Jan Kruiter has wholeheartedly devoted himself for over 20 years now to public interest issues. As an action researcher at the Instituut voor Publieke Waarden (Institute of Public Values) he advocates a culture in which ‘we the people’ actively regain ownership of our common problems and solutions. In addition, he is the founder of the Narangi Foundation, a foundation that supports educational projects for children in slum areas in Jaipur (India). Albert Jan has written several books and publishes regularly in national newspapers and magazines.
